Defensive hollow points inherently recoil harder and differently than lighter range ammo, and 3:00 AM in a dark room is not the time to figure that out!  However, with defensive ammo typically costing 2 to 3 times more than range ammo, it is not very practical to train with.

We have painstakingly tested and developed the rounds side by side, taking felt recoil, muzzle flash, and other aspects of the ammunition into consideration, with the only difference being the use of a much more affordable yet still very high quality full metal jacket projectile in place of our hollow point defensive bullet.
